    This full-time position will have the opportunity to provide administrative support to both the Admissions and Marketing Offices at Mount Marty College. This position assists the Admissions Office in recruitment activities such as coordination of the campus visit program and receptionist responsibilities. This position assists the Marketing Office with graphic design and photography projects.

    We seek candidates who have a team-oriented disposition, high level of energy, initiative, and a sense of humor. Strong organizational; problem-solving; customer service; communication; photography; and computer skills in programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel and Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator are also important. Candidate must have at least an associate’s degree or two years of experience in public relations, journalism, graphic design, administrative assisting, or related field.

    BioSNTR Undergraduate Research Aides

    The BioSNTR Undergraduate Research Aides will assist in basic research conducted in the lab of Dr. Geiser. This research pertains to investigating the bio-compatibility of materials used in scaffolding for growing tissues.  The research aides will assist researchers with experiments under technical supervision.  Duties include preparation of solutions, media, and glassware and/or collecting and analyzing specimens and data for research purposes.  Research aides must be enrolled as an undergraduate student at Mount Marty College for the 2014-15 academic year.  Preference given for experience in cellular and biochemical techniques and theory.

    Chief Nurse Administrator
    Mount Marty College seeks an experienced and innovative nurse to lead the college’s nursing program. The Chief Nurse Administrator is directly responsible and accountable for ensuring the fulfillment of educational goals and objectives, and ensuring program compliance with state standards as well as maintaining full accreditation. These responsibilities require leadership in both academic and workforce areas and include; directing and participating in educational planning; program organization; staffing, training and supervision of both full-time and part-time faculty; evaluating program faculty and student performance; motivating and advising students; developing and maintaining the program budget and generating program reports as needed.  Doctoral degree required. The position will start July 2014.

    Controller
    This full-time position will be responsible for supervising key areas including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Accounting.  They will be tasked with analyzing and resolving complex accounting issues and evaluating internal and external impacts of changes in processes and policies. They will facilitate the monthly close and reconciliation processes along with writing financial statements.

    This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. A Master's degree in a related area and/or CPA license is preferred. Three or more years of work related experience required.

    IT Helpdesk Specialist
    This full-time position will provide overall technology support to staff, faculty and students for the ITSS Department including managing issue tracking, providing first level support on issue resolution, tracking inventory of computers/laptop and other hardware devices; maintaining classroom technology and video conferencing systems; and administering basic on premises telephone system.

    Applicants for this position should have technical, customer service, and familiarity with wide variety of operating systems, audio visual equipment and database experience.  A+ certification preferred.  This position requires Associates or Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    MSN Nursing Faculty Position

    This academic year faculty position will contribute to our new Family Nurse Practitioner program through curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation. Faculty will teach in graduate or undergraduate areas; make ongoing scholarly contributions to nursing science, including the incorporation of evidence-based practice into teaching and clinical activities and maintain a program of clinical practice that serves as a site and model for APRN practice and clinical education. Appointment to academic rank and salary are dependent on demonstrated scholarly achievement and teaching experience. 

    DNP degree required, licensed or eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in compact region and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in South Dakota, national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and experience in advanced practice role. Experience in higher education including teaching, simulation instruction, accreditation, program review, or assessment preferred.
