Hansen Named Athlete-of-the-Week
The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports announced Dean Hansen was selected as the athlete-of-the-week in baseball for April 7 – April 13, 2008.
Hansen hit .545 on the week with a slugging percentage of .636. At the plate he was 6-11 with four runs, four runs scored and one double. The Lancers posted a 2-1 record on the week and are 14-18 on the season (through Sunday play).
Hansen, a senior from Spearfish, South Dakota, is currently seeking his Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Wellness.
Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2007-2008 GPAC players-of-the-week and players and coaches-of-the-year awards program.
