Jeff Beals To Present Guest Lecture On March 26

Mount Marty College will once again host to Jeff Beals on March 26 as he presents his humorous and energetic program and book signing at noon in the Roncalli South Dining Room. The event is free and open to the public.

Beals is a motivational speaker and author whose books focus on personal attributes and how to “sell” those characteristics to others. His presentation: “Self Marketing Power: Branding Yourself as a Business of One” outlines the tools to help build a personal brand while striking a healthy balance between healthy promotion and egotistical boasting.

The seminar is based on his book of the same title, which was just recently published. Copies of the book will be available at the signing which follows the seminar.

Beals comes to Mount Marty from Omaha, Neb. where he is a commercial real estate executive, radio talk show host, newspaper columnist and part-time college professor. As a result of these many professions, Beals understands how to synthesize wide-ranging experiences into one very successful career.

The seminar is ideal for students, professionals and even retirees as Beals outlines how to get the most out of individual experiences and applying them to life. Topics covered in the presentation include:
