New Year, New Look

It’s 2008 and we’re celebrating with a new look for Mount Marty College.  So far we’ve introduced new logos, a new look to our publications and a new website format.  We hope you enjoy these changes and invite you to watch for more changes to come on campus, online, and on the air.

Logo Symbolism

The new Mount Marty logos were designed with some very specific symbolism in mind.

The gold M was designed with the following in mind:

• Rounded corners to indicate flexibility
• Legs of the “M” indicate pillars of learning and a stable foundation
• Open “V” at the top is an open book, open mind, and reverence to Heaven
• The overhangs of the second “M” illustrate the cliffs of the Missouri River
• The center “M” is transparent for individuality to shine through.

The Lancer Logo was designed with the following in mind:

• Knight figure indicates the loyalty and devotion of our male and female athletes
• Lance points to the right to indicate a forward direction
• Shield illustrates alliance to Mount Marty and its mission
• Forward lean of lettering illustrates progress and determination

The school colors are Gold and Blue.
