Courses You'll Love, Skills You'll Use.
At Mount Marty College, even the classrooms are smart. Our 100% wireless campus, "smart" classrooms featuring the latest technology, and laptop program each student receives a wireless-ready laptop to use in class and around campus are just a few examples of our commitment to preparing students for the real world. Our liberal arts foundation and Catholic Benedictine heritage mean that Mount Marty students benefit from a long tradition of faith-based learning focused on developing the whole person. Students gain confidence and skills in classes that engage them as future professionals and lifelong learners, and our graduate placement rates attest to our commitment to integrating academics with career-focused practical learning.

Professors with Class.
We believe tomorrow's successful leaders will be critical thinkers, articulate communicators, ready problem-solvers, and capable leaders. In order to learn these skills, it's important that students have the chance to develop trusting relationships with faculty. That's why all classes at Mount Marty are taught by professors (not teaching assistants) who regularly give out their home phone numbers, cheer on student-athletes from the bleachers, and participate in student events and activities. Our dedicated, accessible faculty and 14:1 student-to-faculty ratio mean personalized attention from caring mentors who know who you are and where you want to go. An average class size of 25 students means hands-on learning, collaboration, and plenty of engaging discussions in every discipline. Our excellent advising program and Scholastica Learning Center offer even more opportunities for students to get support and share ideas.

Where Would You Like to Go?
Mount Marty College graduates find employment at a rate of 95% within six months of graduation, with 85% of graduates employed in their chosen field of study. Professors guide students and write recommendations that reflect students' goals, values, and accomplishments. Opportunities including internships, service learning, and clinical experiences help students build resumes that open doors after college, while allowing them to experience life outside the classroom. Our focus on the Benedictine values of service and learning help students to develop an understanding of themselves and their purpose. Students leave Mount Marty with the tools they need for a rewarding career and a meaningful life.

Smart Preparation.
Mount Marty College students enjoy classes in some of today's most interesting and relevant fields such as forensic science, criminal justice, nursing, computer information systems and graphic design + media arts. Our liberal arts and sciences foundation requires students to take classes across disciplines, which they say helps them to bring fresh perspectives to their chosen field of study. If you've ever wondered what mathematics has to do with poetry or what psychology has to do with history, Mount Marty can help you find the answers-and apply them to your educational goals.

Technology Enhances Learning.
Every full-time student at Mount Marty College receives a laptop computer and 24-hour access to the College's wireless fiber-optic network. Students learn how to use relevant technology to chat with professors in extended online office hours, work with their classmates on projects or presentations, or search the library catalog. Laptops are updated every two years, and students receive training and support, including a walk-in help desk and telephone help line. Students gain proficiency in programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access that puts them ahead of the curve after graduation. Our wireless campus means learning doesn't end when class is over-students get support from professors and peers both in person and online.
