This course is an overview of small business entrepreneurship and the process of establishing a small business. This course will cover opportunities, planning, start up, risk, financing, marketing, and growth. The student will prepare a formal business plan. Prerequisite: BUS 279 On Demand

BUS 412 | Production/Operations Management | 3 hours
Overview of the production and operation systems common to all types of business organizations including basic problems in the production of goods and services and modern strategies for planning and controlling operations. Prerequisite: MTH 219 Spring

BUS 469 | Business Finance | 3 hours
This course is a capstone course for finance majors with policy study of various financial options for corporate entities. Prerequisites: BUS 269, 370 469 and MTH 219 Spring

The student will bring together all of the various theories and concepts learned in other business courses. Strategic management issues will be covered through the use of case studies, computer simulations, and classroom discussion. Prerequisite: senior status or consent of instructor. Spring
