system. Also covered are other types of economic systems and their

Every student is engaged in the public relations process, the goals,
functions and responsibilities of public relations, and the writing and

The basic research concepts and techniques, applications of research
findings to formulating marketing policies. Prerequisite: BUS 225, MTH 219 Fall Even

Information on the selling process and its importance in the business
environment. Topics covered will include the psychology of selling,
telemarketing, and computer technology and its impact on selling.

Each student studies advertising from historical, economic, ethical,
psychological and artistic perspectives. Every student plans, designs and

This course involves the study of principles of personnel administration
and the responsibilities of the personnel function within an organization.
Emphasis is placed on procurement, selection, training, supervision, job

Various aspects of traditional business theory will be covered from an
international perspective. Topics will include the impact of the European
Economic Community, international monetary systems and the impact of

This course involves the study of procurement and utilization of funds
for a business. Includes study of securities, capital and income management,

An introduction to law and to the legal aspects of common business
transactions: contracts, agencies, personal property and bailments, sales,

This course is an overview of small business entrepreneurship and the
process of establishing a small business. This course will cover
opportunities, planning, start up, risk, financing, marketing, and growth.

BUS 412 | Production/Operations Management | 3 hours
Overview of the production and operation systems common to all types of
business organizations including basic problems in the production of goods
and services and modern strategies for planning and controlling operations.

The student will study typical financial intuitional investments. In
additional to equity and debt instruments the student will further study

This course is a capstone course for finance majors with policy study of

The student will bring together all of the various theories and concepts
learned in other business courses. Strategic management issues will be
covered through the use of case studies, computer simulations, and classroom

The student will gain experience in business fields on a part-time or
