While pursing a degree at MMC, students will develop an in-depth knowledge of
the computer and information technology and become competent in the use of

Assists in becoming a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer Course Offerings
Computer Science and Computer Information Systems majors study algorithm
analysis, data structures, program design and programming languages. They also
learn database design, networking,
graphics and operating systems. In essence, students will learn how computers
work inside and out.
At Mount Marty College, students receive a laptop computer.
Mount Marty College is a wireless campus, so students will have the world at
their fingertips and 24-hour access to the Internet and e-mail, software, and
network resources.
The Computer Science major is designed for students interested in scientific
applications of technology, software engineering, or programming. The courses
involve an in depth study of mathematics. The program is excellent preparation for engineering graduate school.
The Computer Information Systems Major is designed for students
interested in software design and development along with an understanding for
how computers work.
