Many music majors become active in the Mount Marty College Music Club. The Music Club is for fellowship and support of those who are active in the music programs at Mount Marty College. Music majors may also become active in Collegiate Music Educators, an honorary society.

Music Opportunities

• Concert Band | Performs concerts on campus and within the community.
• Jazz Band | This ensemble group plays everything one would expect from a studio big band.
• Pep Band | The ensemble groups plays at athletic events and campus spirit events.
• Choir | The choir performs concerts on campus and the annual spring music tour.
• College Choir | Open to those who like to sing, need the recreation of the arts, and who enjoy all kinds of music.
• Chambre Choir | A more intense ensemble, seeking the best singers to study and perform the choral masterworks of all historical periods. By invitation only.

Music majors may also participate in service activities in the community like the Yankton Area Arts Association, Yankton Area Concert Association, Mount Marty College Theatre group, and Lewis & Clark Theatre.

Mount Marty College students are also part of the SD Intercollegiate Band.
