Why do you like attending MMC? It is a very small and unique campus. I love walking around and being able to know everyone I am attending school with. I love the small atmosphere. |

What is your best memory at MMC: Going "night stalking." My freshman year a bunch of us girls dressed in all black with sunglasses, went to Whitby and shut off all the lights in the halls and rooms. We went all out and rolled around, pretending it was Mission Impossible. And then, of course, we had to go to Wal-mart and do some "stalking" there.
What would people be surprised to know about you? I can be shy depending on the situation.
Current book you are reading or music you enjoy listening to? I am currently listening to anything and everything. I love music. My favorite at the moment would have to be "Three Days Grace" and "Breaking Benjamin."
Why do you like attending MMC? I like attending MMC because here I feel like I am a part of something great. My professors know who I am and I can go to them for help or advice whenever I need it. MMC is a supportive community and I feel like I can really do great things from here. |

Why do you like attending MMC? I like how the faculty and staff actually care about the students. They give you individual attention and care about your success. When you don't like something about the campus, you have the ability to change it. It is a campus that is always willing to change to please its students. |

What is your best memory at MMC: I have lots of good memories, but the best one has to be when I scored my greatest goal ever! It was the second game of my senior season. I was dribbling past a defender when he fouled me and ten yards outside the box. I took the ball and set it for the free kick. To make a long story short, I kicked it over the wall and inot the top right hand corner of the goal; the goalie never had a chance!
What would people be surprised to know about you? I really want to go to the University of South Dakota School of Law and I am anxiously awaiting their review of my application. However, I have already been accepted to the St. Thomas Cooley College of Law in Michigan, so either way, I'm going to law school in the fall.
Why do you like attending MMC? I like MMC because here we make homage to our core values of hospitality and community; I see people whom I know everywhere, and even if I don't know them, they're always willing to smile at me and greet me. I have also made great friendships and earned a valuable education here. |

What would people be surprised to know about you? That I bowled a 216 with 6 strikes in a row once this year. I have also been a DJ for 6 years.
Current book you are reading or music you enjoy listening to? I am listening to a local musician - Matthew Mayer. He is a tremendous pianist.
Why do you like attending MMC? This is my home away from home. I am able to be involved with many activities on campus and do not feel pressured to only limit myself to one. I know the professors on a first name basis and vice versa.

What is your best memory at MMC: Nothing beats the nights when my friends and I have nothing planned - those usually turn out to be the most fun, and random, times ever!
What would people be surprised to know about you? I work at a greenhouse near my hometown during the summer and I've developed a huge green thumb because of it!
Current book you are reading or music you enjoy listening to? I can listen to pretty much anything, but I'm a big country fan - Rascal Flatts are my favorite. I'm currently reading Water for Elephants for the second time. It's one of the best books I've ever read.
Why do you like attending MMC? It's so nice seeing familiar, friendly faces all over campus. Everyone is so helpful - both teachers and students willingly devote their time to helping everyone. |

What is your best memory at MMC: My best memory was not at MMC, but because of MMC. Mount Marty requires all Biology and Chemistry majors to do undergraduate research. I spent a summer working in a lab that studies ovarian cancer. Because of this experience, I intend on doing research after graduating from MMC.
What would people be surprised to know about you? I love rock music and video games.
Current book you are reading or music you enjoy listening to? Other than textbooks, I'm reading a book called The Art of Loving by Erich Fromm. The latest disc in my CD player is a Christian artist compilation created by a friend.
Why do you like attending MMC? The people at Mount Marty - faculty, staff and student - are wonderful! You are never just another face at MMC because everyone know you. There is such a feeling of community here. |

What is your best memory at MMC: I don't think that I have just one memory that stands out from the rest. Some of the best times I have had while at MMC have been from my freshman year though. There were so many random nights that a bunch of girls would just hang out in the hallways being our crazy selves.
What would people be surprised to know about you? People would be surprised that I can actually be a serious person when I need to be! I am always upbeat and outgoing so most people never get to see my serious side.
Current book you are reading or music you enjoy listening to? I am currently reading ecology, organic chemistry and anatomy textbooks! As for music, I like to listen to just about anything.
Why do you like attending MMC? I like attending MMC because of the small campus size. It truly feels like the small town that I came from and that makes it all the more comfortable for me. |
