- Submit an Application for Admission.
- Submit a $25 application fee to apply for admission. If you apply online, then your application fee is deferred until you register. You have so much to gain and nothing to lose.
- Submit an official high school transcript or GED transcript.
- Contact your high school to request your transcript or contact the Department of Education in the state your received your GED to request your GED transcript.
- Submit official post-secondary transcripts from each institution attended.
- Once we receive your transcripts, you will receive a credit evaluation to inform you what will transfer and what you have left to complete your degree at MMC. Mount Marty College accepts transfer credits from all accredited institutions of a grade of C or better. You may send an unofficial transcript to receive a free credit evaluation.
- ACT or SAT scores are required if you are under 21 years of age. Transfer students DO NOT need to submit ACT transcripts.
- Explore the internet and scholarships search online for scholarships.
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for financial aid. You can apply online at www.fafsa.ed.gov or ask your Admissions Counselor for a FAFSA. MMC's FAFSA code is 003465. If you have already completed your FAFSA for the upcoming year, call your Admissions Counselor with the DRN number from your Student Aid Report.
- Receive and return your financial aid award package.
- Submit your confirmation deposits to include a $50 tuition deposit.
- Residence living is required of full-time students under 21 years of age, unless you are living with parent(s) within 30 miles of Yankton, are married, and/or have dependents. Students living off-campus must submit the "Intent to Live Off-Campus" form.
- Attend New Student Registration to meet your advisor and register for classes.
- Complete Medical Forms and Immunization forms.
- Attend New Student Orientation for Adult Learners.
