Majoring in Education.
Catrina wasn't sure if education was the profession she wanted to pursue until she came to Mount Marty. She had some initial interest in the field her senior year of high school, but her decision to choose an education major came after taking some classes and meeting with the helpful professors in the department:

"In my opinion, we have great education teachers. They each take the time to get to know you as a person, as well as a student."

Staying Involved.
Catrina's involved in ASPIRE, Education Club, MMC Democrats, Collegians for Life and Intramurals. She singles out Intramurals as her favorite activity, as she "has always been an athletic girl that likes to have a lot of fun playing all kinds of sports." She also highlights the ASPIRE group, which represents many of the "important activities that are held on campus."

Random Memories.
"Because of Mount Marty, I have found some of my greatest friends. Whether it is going from a sporting event or even class, there is always something interesting that goes on. Overall, it is the random times that make the greatest memories."

Feels Like Home.
"I decided to come to Mount Marty College because of the great atmosphere that was presented when I first visited. Coming from a small town in Iowa, it felt like home." After meeting the "friendly faculty, staff and students," Catrina was convinced Mount Marty was a great place to continue her education.
