Like many students on Mount Marty's campus, Chris has been able to stay involved while earning his degree. He is currently president of the student body, a member of the basketball team, sings in mixed choir, and is a participant in campus ministries, to name a few. was an intern for the FDIC in Sioux City, Iowa.

Clubs and Organizations.
"The biggest reason I chose Mount Marty was because it allowed me to do so many different things." Chris has made the most of his time on campus, being involved in numerous activities. He especially enjoyed his experience on the strategic planning committee, which focused on the future directions for the institution.

Internship Opportunities.
Chris used the resources at the career center to find out about an internship opportunity with the FDIC. He filled out the application, created a resume, and interviewed in Sioux Falls before he was awarded the position. "It was a stressful process," but it definitely paid off. Chris considers the experience "incredible" and expects to have a full-time job in place upon graduation.

On the Basketball Court.
"Sports has been one of my top priorities. I have developed some great relationships and [even] got to travel to Hawaii my senior year." Chris feels it's been a great accomplishment to be able to play four years of college basketball.
