On the Court.
"Basketball is a huge part of my life, and I love playing here at Mount Marty." Some of Dana's best memories have come through basketball teammates, trips, and their appearance in the NAIA National Tournament last year.

"Dana is a great team player. She does all the little things that help make the team better – and she is pretty good at the big ones as well. I appreciate that she understands, and has the skills and desire, to achieve the desired results." - Chuck Iverson, Head Coach

In the Classroom.
Dana is pursuing a Psychology degree because she enjoys "learning about, understanding, and working with people." She plans to attend graduate school after Mount Marty to earn a master's degree in the field and is working to setup an internship experience in the mean time.

Outside the Classroom.
"I have been fortunate to be able to give back to Mount Marty by participating in a variety of clubs and activities." Dana's been involved in a ton of activities at the 'Mount', including Ambassadors, MMC Democrats and the Business Club. She's also the Public Relations Officer for Student Government Association, the Advertising Manager for The Moderator, a part of the Mission Effectiveness Committee and is a tutor in the Learning Center.

In Conclusion.
"I have made many great friends over these three years [at Mount Marty.] I have had great experiences here and have learned much about myself." Asked about recommendations for prospective students, her response was definitive:

"I would definitely recommend Mount Marty because it is a small, close community with many opportunities. When I first visited, I was impressed by the way the people treated each other, with respect and kindness. I knew it would be a good fit for me, and I was right."
