Opportunities Abound.
Theresa has made the most of her first two years at Mount Marty, keeping busy with soccer, track and field, band, mixed choir and chamber choir, plus graphic arts club and business club. Soccer has been particularly enjoyable, as she "never played in high school and thought it would be a good experience."
"I have had a lot of fun so far [in soccer], and I look forward to the next few years as we are able to build the team up."
Why Mount Marty?
"My sister [Laura] seemed to enjoy college here, so I knew I would too." Theresa's experience at Mount Marty has been positive: she's actively recommending the school to prospective students:
"My best friend from high school, who is a year younger than me, is currently attending Mount Marty. There is also another student from my high school coming here next fall."
Lifelong Memories.
When asked about a favorite memory from her time at Mount Marty, Theresa said it was hard to pinpoint a single favorite, but rather "there are a lot that come to mind."
"For instance, last year some of us girls got all dressed in black and went around the dorms and shut off all the lights. It was a lot of fun and we still laugh about it."
In addition to fun in the dorms, she's enjoyed the various school-sponsored dances, "especially last year's salsa dancing."
Coming Soon.
Theresa wants to be a photographer once she graduates, so she's naturally excited about her upcoming photography class. All in all, she's keeping busy and "looking forward to learning whatever I can at Mount Marty before I graduate." |
