Alex Irvine (Men's Basketball)- Alex, a junior from Tea, SD, had a solid week for the Lancer men. During the past week, Alex averaged 9 points on 70% shooting from the field. He was also active on the glass and averaged 2.5 assists over the week. He is also very involved on campus with FCA and student government.
Abby VanDenBerg (Cross Country)- Abby, a senior from Sioux Falls, SD, was a national qualifier in the first indoor meet of the year in the triple jump on Saturday, December 6th. She will compete at the National Indoor NAIA meet in Geneva, OH on March 5th to the 7th.
Josh Monson (Cross Country)- Josh is a Senior from Bryant, SD and he won the Midland half-marathon in Fremont, NE on December 6th and in doing so he qualified for the Outdoor National meet for the marathon on May 23rd to be held in South Shore, AL.
Karen Mayfield (Cross Country)- Karen is a Sophomore from Watertown, SD and placed 2nd in the Midland half-marathon in Fremont, NE on December 6th and in doing so she qualified for the outdoor national meet for the marathon on May 23rd to be held in South Shore, AL.
Seamus O'Malley (Men's Basketball)- Seamus is a freshman from Centerville, SD. Seamus has been emerging as the year continues and had a nice game at Dordt this past week, scoring 8 points, 2 assists, and 2 steals.
Cheyenne Lambley (Women's Basketball)- Cheyenne is a senior from Burke, SD who is majoring in Elementary/Special Education. Cheyenne had 10 points and 3 rebounds in the Lancer 65-64 win over Dordt on November 25th. For the season, she is averaging 8 points and 4 rebounds while leading the team in offensive rebounds. Cheyenne was also voted as a team captain this season.
Lorenzo Davis (Men's Basketball)- Lorenzo is a senior from St. Paul, MN who is majoring in Business Administration. Lorenzo helped the Lancers go 1-1 this past week, providing some solid play at the point guard position totaling 10 points and 4 assists while shooting 50% from the field and 100% at the FT line.
Sam Blake (Women's Basketball)- Sam is a junior from Centerville, SD. Sam's hardwork and dedication in the off-season prepared her for a successful season this year. She played a big role in our two victories this week over Oglala Lakota College and Midland University.
Bud Smith (Men's Basketball)- Bud Smith, a senior from St. Louis, Missouri, scored a career high of 30 points in the season's home opener vs. Concordia while also accumulating 7 rebounds and 5 assists. So far on the season, Bud is leading the Lancers in scoring (19.2/gm), assists (3/gm), and steals (1.5/gm) through the first six games this season.
Alex Kneeland (Women's Basketball)- Alex Kneeland is a Junior from Summit, SD. Alex scored 11 points against Concordia on Wednesday and recorded a collegiate career high of 32 points in an exhibition game against University of Sioux Falls on Saturday. She is currently averaging 13.8 ppg which leads the Lancers.
Justin Sudtelgte (Cross Country)- Justin is a Freshman from Elkton, SD and was Mount Marty's 2nd runner on the team at the Conference Cross Country meet held in Mitchell, SD on November 8th, 2014.
Laura Groseth (Volleyball)- Laura had 13 kills against DWU last Wednesday, hitting .393. She also had 3 assisted blocks against Northwestern in the playoff game.
Genaro Bustillos (Soccer)- Genaro had one goal vs. Hasting College 30 yards out.
Bailey Kuchta (Volleyball)- Bailey, a Junior, hit her 500th career kill against Nebraska Wesleyan on Saturday, October 25th.
Christian Petrich (Men's Cross Country)- Christian is a sophomore from Lennox, SD and ran on of the best cross country races of his career as he was the 2nd Mount Marty runner on the men's team at the Mount Marty Cross Country Invitational placing 86th out of the 227 runners that finished the race.
Kristen Boyle (Volleyball)- Kristen reached her 500th career kill this weekend against Midland University.
Patrick Frank - Pat has been instrumental in the operations of the Athletic Department as far as videoing games/scrimmages, running errands and shagging balls during volleyball games.
Dennisha Johanneson (Volleyball)- Had a great game against Presentation JV leading the team in kills against the Saints. Dennisha had 5 kills in set 1 alone.
Genaro Bustillos (Men's Soccer)- Scored two goals to lead Mount Marty Men's Soccer team to a 2-1 win over morningside.
Mandy O'Malley (Cross Country) - Mandy O'Malley placed 4th in the College Division in the SDSU Cross Country Invitational helping lead the Mount Marty Lancer women to 1st place as a team. They won over Jamestown, a team that received National votes, DWU, DSU, and SW State in Minnesota.
Juan Magana (Men's Soccer) - Scored two goals vs. Grace and one goal vs. Nebraska Wesleyan.
Roxy Ross (Volleyball) - Roxy has been a great part of the Mount Marty Volleyball team. Roxy is a leader in that she is very positive and supportive of the team. Roxy plays a huge role in pumping the team up before, between, and after matches.
Gage Blaschke (Cross Country)- Blaschke led the Lancer men to a 2nd place finish out of 6 teams at the DWU Invitational at Mitchell, SD with his 9th place finish.
Allison Cross (Volleyball)- Cross broke a MMC school record of 9 blocks in a 3-game match against Concordia University after coming off of a two week injury.
Humberto Estrada (Men's Soccer)- Goal keeper, Estrada, had 1 save against Central Christian College and the next day had 8 saves against McPherson College.
Jordyn Hudelson (Cross Country) - Hudelson, a Junior from Elk Point, SD, won her first collegiate cross country meet at the Herb Blakely Invitational in Madison, SD on Saturday September 13th. She lead the Mount Marty women to the team title in a field of six teams.
Dylan Brende (Men's Golf) - Brende tied the 18 hole MMC record with a 74 at Landsmeer in Orange City, IA last Friday. His round included 1 eagle and 2 birdies.
Breanna Thege (Volleyball) - Thege has been averaging 5 digs per set and is currently 4th in our conference for digs per set.
Ludwin Arana (Men's Soccer) - Ludwin scored a hat trick (three goals) in the Lancers 3-1 win over York College on August 26th.
Sierra Kloth (Volleyball) - Kloth's hitting percentage was over .300 for the 4 out of 5 games. Also getting 22 kills against Friends University.
