About Coach Iverson
Coach Iverson enters his 27th year of coaching, and his 17th at Mount Marty, where he is the all-time leader in wins. Iverson also serves as the Director of Athletics for Mount Marty College during a period in which the athletics program has quadrupled in size. The Lancer women’s basketball program has produced a three conference championships, 36 All-Conference, 12 All-Americans, and 25 Academic All-Americans in the last sixteen years and have played in the NAIA National Tournament twice. Iverson, last year's GPAC and Region II Coach of the Year, played basketball at the University of South Dakota and was later drafted by the Seattle Supersonics of the NBA as well as by Memphis of the old ABA.
