Mt. Martians” advance to quarterfinals in International Competition!!
The Mt. Martians, MMC’s newest choir, has advanced to the regional quarterfinals in an International Acappella competition.  The first portion of the competition was based on a CD of submitted repertoire sung by the group.  Judges then narrowed down the groups based on merit of singing and placed the highest rated groups into the live quarterfinal rounds.  The Mt. Martians will either be competing in Michigan or Missouri at one of the state universities.
Other quarterfinalists in the Midwest include:  U of Nebraska at Lincoln, U of Michigan, Michigan State, U of Illinois, U of Chicago, U of Kansas, U of Missouri-Columbia, and Northwestern University, amongst others.

Martians have landed!!  Congratulations!!
