Schmitt Presidential Scholarship packets are now available in the
Financial Assistance Office. This award
is a FULL-TUITION SCHOLARSHIP granted for one academic year, and is
non-renewable. The Presidential
Scholarship value is the cost of tuition at
1) Have
completed an academic semester as a full-time student at
2) Must be classified as a senior beginning with the fall 2009 semester;
3) Complete the SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION and return it by March 3, 2009;
4) Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 with no “NC”, “F”, “D”, or “U” grades on record;
5) Be pursuing an undergraduate degree;
6) Have no disciplinary probation for the year;
7) Show tangible evidence of positive contributions to the academic and civic communities of which you are a part;
8) Be
recommended by (2)
9) The selection may entail an informal interview with the members of the Financial Assistance Committee.
