Pursuant to the Federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974,
as amended, ³Directory Information² at Mount Marty is defined as:
Student¹s name, local and permanent addresses, e-mail address, local and
permanent telephone listings, date and place of birth, photographs,
enrollment status, major fields of study, participation in officially
recognized activities and sports, weight and height of members of athletic
teams, dates of attendance, degrees and awards received, and the most
previous educational agency or institution attended by the student prior to
Mount Marty.
Student consent that all Directory Information is deemed public information
is presumed to have been given unless a written request to restrict the
information as confidential is made by the student to the Registrar¹s Office
by the 7th day of classes for the semester. The written request on the
prescribed form remains in effect for one year. Restriction of directory
information as confidential means that no directory information is to be
released or verified to anyone outside Mount Marty without the
student¹s written permission.
