Mount Marty College Kylie Gross Scores 1,000th Career Point

Mount Marty College senior, Kylie Gross, became the 19th player in the program's history to score 1000 points. The historic event happened during Saturday's game versus Nebraska Wesleyan University at Cimpl Arena. The Yankton, SD native, and team captain is also just the 5th MMC player to score over 1000 points and have over 700 rebounds. Gross also holds Mount Marty records for Most Charges taken in a season and Most Charges taken for a career.

"Kylie's blue-collar leadership and consistent performance have been keys to our success," says Head Coach Tom Schlimgen, "she is an extremely hard worker who is always pushing herself to be better."

Gross has been a three year starter and four year letter winner at Mount Marty College. She has participated in two NAIA National Tournaments and has been part of over 80 wins during her time at MMC. In addition to her success on the floor Gross has also received the Great Plains Athletic Conference Emil. S Liston Award, is the President for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at MMC and was named Lady Marben as the MMC Homecoming Queen.
