Published Date5\1\2012
Mount Marty College is pleased to announce the athletic signing of Kirsti Skuza of Sioux Falls, SD to play golf for the Lancers next fall.

Skuza, an O'Gorman High School student, was a member of the 2011 South Dakota State and Greater Dakota Conference championship team. She individually finished 29th at the state meet and placed 12th in the city.

"Kirsti's experience on championship teams and playing in those types of high-intensity situations will be valuable to us," said head women's golf coach Tom Schlimgen. "We are also excited to add her as a member of the golf team. She's got a wonderful swing and it will be great to see her skills strengthen even more over the coming years."

Skuza, daughter of Rich and Tracy Skuza of Sioux Falls, plans to major in nursing at Mount Marty College. In addition to her golf award she is receiving an Academic Achievement Scholarship and will be participating in the MMC choir program.
