On Wednesday, October 3rd the Mount Marty College women's volleyball team is having a cancer awareness night to help raise awareness for breast cancer. The game at 7:30 pm will have the women sporting special "Think Pink" t-shirts. Not only will the MMC teams be participating in the awareness activities but the opponents of the night, Northwestern College, will also aid in the cause.

The MMC team is selling the "Think Pink" t-shirts for $15.00 each with a portion of the proceeds going to the local cancer center. During the game a free-will donation will also be collected. All the donations received during that time will be donated to the local cancer center as well.

Head women's volleyball coach, Candice Climer, said, "We've been doing something to support breast cancer awareness for the last few years and we've seen such a positive response. Just in the last two years we've raised over $1500.00."

Come support the Lancers volleyball programs and breast cancer awareness. Admission to the game is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors and students are $2. For more information on Mount Marty College's volleyball program please visit www.mmclancers.com.
