Raffle to Benefit Mount Martys Fernandez

The Mount Marty College Athletic Department is sponsoring a benefit raffle for the college's head women's softball coach and enrollment counselor, Albert Fernandez. The raffle is going on now and will continue until the final home Lancers basketball game this season.

Albert Fernandez, age 39, was recently diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. Just returning from Texas, the road to recovery and the ATTACK on the cancer have just begun. All the proceeds from this benefit raffle will go directly to the Fernandez family to help defray expenses that will be occurring as a result of his treatment.

Prizes included in this raffle are: $500.00 Cash from Lancer Club Steering Committee; Truxedo Pick-up Cover (RV: $500), $50 Royal Sports Gift Certificate; XTreme Hair & Spa Pampering Treatment;, Timberwolves Game Package for March 30th vs. Memphis, includes: 1 Night’s Stay at Holiday Inn, 4 Tickets to Moose Mountain Adventure Golf, 4 Wristbands to Nickelodeon at Mall of America (RV: $500, Courtesy of 5 Star Communications); $100 JJ Benji's Gift Certificate; $40 Walmart Gift Certificate, Courtesy of KYNT: $100 Yankton Chamber Bucks, Harley Davidson Sunglasses & Banner (RV: $100), 2 Tickets to Pink Floyd Experience, 8 Tickets to Carmike Theaters; HyVee Beef Bundle (RV: $70); and a 40" Sony Bravia TV.

The final drawing for the prizes will take place during the last home Lancers basketball game on Saturday, February 16th. Winners do not need to be present to win.

Raffle tickets can be purchased at the home Lancers basketball games, the Mount Marty College Bookstore, Yankton Quarterback Club meetings, Hy-Vee in Yankton, and the KYNT Radio Station.
