Published Date1\18\2013
Mount Marty College senior guard, Taylor Forsch, is closing out an incredible career for the women's basketball team. In recent weeks, the Baltic, SD native, has achieved more than one career milestone.

On January 2, 2013 against GPAC foe Briar Cliff, Forsch became the 19th Lancer women's basketball player to score 1,000 points in a career. She currently sits in 16th place on the career charts with 1,036 points. She then added to her impressive resume by becoming Mount Marty's all-time leader in three-point shots made. Having made 208 three-pointers put her ahead of former three-time All-American, Michelle (Amundson) Schumacher, who made 200 three-pointers in her career.

Forsch is having an outstanding season for the 12-8 Lancers. She has made 70 three-pointers this season which currently leads the NAIA DII and her .511 three-point shooting percentage ranks her second in the NAIA. The Lancers currently sit with a 7-5 GPAC record putting them in fifth place in the standings.

Mount Marty College's next game is scheduled for Saturday, January 19th with a 2pm tip-off versus GPAC opponent Midland University.
