Published Date2\28\2013
Mount Marty College is pleased to announce the commitment of Brady Zimmerer to attend Mount Marty College this fall and participate in the baseball program.

Zimmerer is set to graduate from Verdigre High School (Neb.) this spring and plays summer baseball for the Creighton (Neb.) American Legion baseball program. This past season he played several positions, including pitcher, catcher and infielder. Zimmerer finished 4-3 on the mound with 1 save and a 3.14 earned run average. He also produced at the plate batting .350 with 45 hits, 41 runs and 47 runs batted in.

Mount Marty College head baseball coach, Andy Bernatow, is excited to announce the commitment of Zimmerer to the Lancer Baseball program. "Brady should be a great fit for our program. Coach Nelson was able to see him workout at an exposure camp in Wayne. He showed arm strength at the workout and we are in the need of pitchers for the upcoming years. Our program will give Brady the opportunity to both pitch and play a position."

Brady, the son of Curt and Sherri Zimmerer is undecided in his major at Mount Marty College. Brady will receive an academic achievement award in addition to his baseball scholarship at Mount Marty.
