Mount Marty Softball Inks Catcher

Mount Marty College is excited to announce the athletic signing of Tripp-Delmont High School student athlete, Rachel Mora, to the Lancer softball program for the upcoming season.

Mora is a 5'4" catcher from Tripp, South Dakota who was a key player on the team that finished 3rd in the state softball tournament in 2012. Her 2012 hitting statistics were: Avg .315, AB 92, R 23, H 29, 2B 3, 3B 5, HR 1 RBIs 23, BB 12, and SO 4.

"I am excited to have Rachel join the Lancer Softball Program. She is a skilled catcher and has a good bat as well. Rachel is a solid student and will be a great addition to the MMC Community." says Albert Fernandez, Head MMC softball coach.

Rachel is the daughter of Mark and Pam Mora of Tripp, South Dakota and will major in business administration at Mount Marty College. In addition to her softball award, Mora is receiving an academic achievement scholarship.
