Davis Signs with Mount Marty College Soccer

Mount Marty College is pleased to announce the athletic signing of Colin Davis of Peoria, AZ to play soccer for the Lancers this coming season. Davis, a recent Raymond S. Kellis High School graduate will be listed as a midfield/forward on the Lancer roster.

In the 2012-13 season, Davis recorded 5 goals, 50 steals, 25 shots, 6 assists in 13 games. He was named Second Team All-District at midfield, and was a Scholar Athlete.

"Colin will be a great addition to our program," stated Nathan Epp, head MMC men's soccer coach. "He is a very aggressive player and has the speed and talent to make an immediate impact on our program and will continue our offense moving in the right direction. He is also the type of student athlete that we look for here at Mount Marty. He excels in the classroom and will be very involved on campus. He will do great things during his time here at Mount Marty College."

Davis, the son of Amy and David Davis, will be majoring in Religious Studies at Mount Marty College. In addition to his soccer award he will be receiving an academic honors scholarship.
