Mount Marty College Mens Basketball Signs Anderson

Mount Marty College is pleased to announce the commitment of Parker High School athlete, Jake Anderson, to attend Mount Marty College this fall and participate in the men’s basketball program.

Anderson, a 6'4", 215 pound, forward from Parker High School, averaged 18.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 3 assists per game and also shot 45% from the field, 38% from three point range, and 75% in free throws. Anderson was named First Team All-Conference, All-Conference Honorable Mention, Offensive MVP, was a 4 year letter winner in basketball and has over 1,000 career points.

MMC head men's basketball coach, Andrew Baker, is excited to announce Anderson's commitment to play basketball. "We are very thrilled that Jake chose Mount Marty. He is an excellent shooter and can also score on the block. Jake adds some nice size to our forward position as well as some versatility. He has a chance to be a very good player for us."

Anderson, the son of Amy Anderson and Guy Anderson, is undecided about his academic major at Mount Marty College. He is the recipient of a MMC Academic Incentive Scholarship in addition to his basketball award.
