Voigt of Red Wing Minn to Play Baseball at Mount Marty College

Mount Marty College is pleased to announce the commitment of Cameron Voigt to attend Mount Marty College this fall and participate in the baseball program.

Voigt, who will graduate this spring from Red Wing High School, is a corner infielder with ties to Mount Marty College and its Athletic Department. Voigt's aunt and uncle Tara Nelson and Jess Nelson, where both athletes at Mount Marty College in the mid-to-late 90s.

Mount Marty College head baseball coach, Andy Bernatow, is pleased to announce the commitment of Cameron to the Lancer Baseball program. "I am very excited about the commitment of Cam to the baseball program. Cam came and worked out for us last fall and Coach Jason Nelson and I were impressed with his swing. He has the potential to blossom into a quality hitter at the collegiate level."

The son of AJ and Sara Voigt, Cameron will major in exercise wellness at Mount Marty College. He is the recipient of a MMC Honors Scholarship for his academic achievements and will also be receiving a baseball scholarship at Mount Marty College.
