MMC Track and Field Adds to Roster

Mount Marty College is pleased to announce the athletic signing of Kyle Pardun of O'Neill St. Mary's to attend the college and participate in the track and field program.

During Pardun's high school career he qualified for the state cross country meet three years; qualified for the state track meet in the 3200 meter run as a freshman, 800 his sophomore year, the 200 and 400 his junior year and this year he qualified for the 100, 200, 400, and the long jump at the Nebraska Class D state track meet. Pardun placed 2nd in the open 400 at the state track meet this year.

Head MMC cross country and track and field coach, Randy Fischer, is excited to sign Kyle Pardun. "Kyle has a great deal of potential and I believe he will keep improving because he isn't afraid to work. Kyle's hard work and dedication in the classroom are what we look for in our student athletes. He will fit in well on our team. His enthusiasm, energy, and leadership will have a positive impact on our program."

The son of Mike and Heather Pardun of O'Neill, NE Kyle will be majoring in education. He is receiving an academic Incentive Scholarship in addition to his athletic award.
