Mount Marty Seeks Gregorian and Lancer Club Members

Published Date8\21\2014

Mount Marty College recently kicked off its annual membership drive for the Gregorian and Lancer Clubs. Following record-setting membership and dollars raised in 2013-14 the MMC Advancement department is excited for this kick-off.

Memberships in the Gregorian Club benefit all students involved in the fine arts at Mount Marty College. Last year the Gregorian Club provided support and funding for new Instruments for the band, sponsored "Messiah Sing" and "Haydn's Creation" outreach performances, purchased new equipment for the college's graphic design lab, implemented a LED lighting system for the theatre, provided a stereo system for the newly renovated Bede Art Gallery, and provided four fine arts scholarships. Membership levels range from $50 - $1,000 and come with different benefits at each level.

Memberships in the Lancer Club benefit all students involved in the sixteen intercollegiate athletic programs on campus. Last year the Lancer Club provided support and funding for two highly sophisticated treadmills to be used in training by all student-athletes, portable tents for away meets and matches, and yearly Lancer Club awards totaling $1,000 to each program's scholarship fund. Membership levels range from $75 - $1,000 and come with different benefits at each level. The top two membership levels receive access to Lancer Landing during games in Cimpl Arena. There are also membership options for current student-athlete parents and those who simply desire a fitness membership for use of MMC facilities.
