MMC EF 2014 European Trip

Next year's Spring break trip (March 7 -15, 2014) to Europe takes us to some of the most beloved spots abroad: Rome, Assisi, Florence and Barcelona. Itinerary for MMC EF 2014 Trip to Rome, Tuscany & Barcelona

Day 1: Fly overnight to Italy

Day 2: Rome
• Arrive in Rome
• Enjoy a pizza dinner

Day 3: Rome
• Take a guided tour of Vatican City
• Visit the Sistine Chapel
• Visit St. Peter's Basilica
• Take a guided tour of Rome
• Visit the Roman Forum
• Visit the Colosseum
• Take a self-guided walking tour of Rome:
     • Trevi Fountain
     • Pantheon
     • Spanish Steps

Day 4: Assisi + Florence
• Travel to Assisi
• Visit the Basilica of St. Francis
• Continue on to Florence

Day 5: Florence
• Take a guided tour of Florence:
     • Piazza della Signoria
     • Ponte Vecchio
     • Chiesa di Santa Croce
     • Gates of Paradise
• Visit the Duomo
• See a leather-making demonstration
• Enjoy free time in Florence

Day 6: Florence + Night ferry
• Travel to Pisa
• See the Leaning Tower of Pisa
• Visit the Pisa Baptistery and Cathedral
• Travel to Livorno
• Board a night ferry to Barcelona

Day 7: Barcelona
• Arrive in Barcelona
• Enjoy free time in Barcelona
