Student Activities provide students the opportunity to utilize their gifts by involvement in a variety of activities and encourages student leadership, community building and personal growth. Being involved outside of the classroom is vital to the success of college students. Studies show that students that are involved are happier students, have a higher GPA than those not involved, and are more likely to graduate from that particular college than those who aren't involved as well. You will be learning life skills that employers are looking for on a resume such as time management, interpersonal skills, and leadership. Going out to the entertainment and events that the Student Activities Office puts on for students is a great way to relieve stress, make friends, and HAVE FUN!
Student activities are planned and hosted by Lisa Willcockson, Director of Student Activities and some are provided by the Student Government Association. All activities are open to current MMC students, families, friends, and the MMC community.
Student activities include a variety of educational, entertainment, leadership, social, wellness, and annual events.Annual Events
