You've heard this term before, but the phrase "home away from home" really does fit the residence halls at Mount Marty College. In addition to your accommodations, every effort is made to surround students with the comforts of home. Each floor in the Women's dorm is provided with a kitchenette with table and chairs, a living area complete with TV and VCR, comfortable sofas and chairs. The Men's dorm is newly remodeled with air conditioning, new beds and furniture, refurbished bathrooms. The main lounge is equipped with games such as pool, foose ball, air hockey, and ping pong. A kitchenette is available. There are also vending machines for student and faculty use.
Many activities are provided during the week for the on-campus student, although commuters are also welcome. Such activities include, karaoke night, musicians, speakers, comedians, and magicians/mentalists. Also various game show type activities are provided at certain times of the year.
Each residence is provided with a Residence Assistant to guide and help the students, and a Residence Director is available for more difficult questions and concerns, or additional guidance.
