RABBIT HOLE BOX OFFICE NOW OPEN!
Seats may now be reserved for MMC Theatre’s spring production of RABBIT HOLE. The box office is located in Roncalli across from the Bede Art Gallery and is open Monday through Friday Noon-5pm. Box office number is 1234. The show runs for three nites; Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 25, 26 and 27 beginning at 7:30. Faculty, staff, students and sisters are admitted free, but still encouraged to make reservations for preferred seating. RABBIT HOLE is the 2007 Pulitzer for Drama and is rated PG-13 due to language.

Enrollment Counselor – Watertown Campus
This is an exempt, full-time position. Enrollment Counselor is responsible for recruiting students and providing academic, financial, and career counseling to students and families in the Watertown area. Enrollment Counselor will generate, monitor and track prospective inquiries and other admissions data along with other duties assigned by the Campus Director and the Vice-President for Enrollment Management.
Candidate must have a minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Psychology, Counseling, Marketing, Education, Communications or Human Relations. Experience preferred in Sales, Marketing, Counseling or Human Relations.

Scholarships Opportunities
The following scholarship applications for the 2010-2011 academic year are available to pick up in the Financial Assistance Office.
Sister Ann Kessler Scholarship – Applicants must be a junior or senior and must have a cumulative GPA of a 3.0 or higher. Student must also demonstrate commitment to service and/or involvement in campus life. Application deadline is April 09, 2010.
Marcella Draper Nipps Nursing Scholarship – Applicants must be a junior nursing major from SD with a cumulative GPA of 2.7-3.2. Application deadline is April 30, 2010.
St. Christina Parish Scholarship – Applicant must be a member of St. Christina’s parish in Parker, SD or St. Mary’s parish in Marion, SD or St. Boniface parish in Idlewilde, SD or be a Catholic student within a 20 mile radius of Parker, SD. Student must also be accepted by Mount Marty College and meet all admissions and scholarship requirements or show financial need. Application deadline is April 09, 2010.
St John’s Parish Scholarship – Applicant must be an active member of St. John’s parish in Wagner, SD. Applicant must have at least a 22 ACT composite or cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. Application deadline is April 09, 2010.
St Margaret’s Parish Scholarship – Applicants must be an active member of the St. Margaret’s parish in Kimball, SD or a Catholic student from the Kimball area. Applicants must be a full-time student with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Application deadline is April 09, 2010.
Court Willard Catholic Daughters Scholarship Application – Applicant must be a son or daughter of a member of the Court Willard Catholic Daughters, or a member of Sacred Heart Parish or St. Benedict Parish, or a son or daughter of a member of Catholic Daughters. Applicant must also be enrolled at least full-time and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Application deadline is April 09, 2010.
Marty Council Knights of Columbus – Applicant must be enrolled full time and have a CGPA of 2.5 or higher. Preference is given in the following order: must be a son, daughter or spouse of a member of MCKOC; a son, daughter or spouse of a member of any SD Knights of Columbus Council; a member of Sacred Heart or St. Benedict Parish in Yankton, SD; a Catholic student. Application deadline is April 09, 2010.
Walter Panzirer Family Public Safety Scholarship applications are available in the Financial Assistance Office, Roncalli, 100. The scholarship will be awarded to an applicant who is currently a resident, or who has formerly been a resident of the state of South Dakota (current residents will be given preference), pursuing a field in Criminal Justice. The son or daughter of active or former members of law enforcement or who have law enforcement step-parents will be given preference. Please come to the Financial Assistance Office for additional information and applications. Applications must be received no later than July 1, 2010.
South Dakota Corrections Association- offers a $500 college scholarship to a Junior or Senior majoring in the Corrections field or a related career field. Guidelines used to determine the recipient include but are not limited to: Junior or Senior in a College or University, South Dakota resident and interested in SD Correction or Human Service Fields, involved in school or community activities, Grade Point Average and show need. Scholarship applications must be postmarked by March 30, 2010. Applications are available in the Financial Assistance Office, Roncalli, Rm 100.
Bishop Hoch Scholarship-is available to new students, students already in college and non-traditional students interested in attending or already attending Mount Marty College, Yankton, South Dakota. Applicants must be eligible for admission to Mount Marty College or a continuing MMC student and applicant’s family must be active registered members of a Catholic parish in the Diocese of Sioux Falls. Applications are available through the Financial Assistance Office, Roncalli 100. Applications, including evaluations must be filed by April 16, 2010.
SD Soil and Water Conservation Society- Is offering a scholarship opportunity in the amount of $500.00 for (2) students who are enrolled in an agricultural or natural science conservation related major, having competed at least (1) year of study and currently enrolled in an accredited college in South Dakota with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.8 (on a 4.0 point scale), show reasonable need and be involved in natural resource conservation activities (including leadership activities). Biology and other majors related to conservation also qualify. You may apply online at www.sdswcs.org or pick up an application in the Financial Assistance Office, Roncalli, Room 100. The completed, signed scholarship application must be returned to address shown on application by March 31, 2010.
The Native American Women’s Health Education Resource Center announces the Native American Community Board Scholarship. The scholarship will be given to Yankton Sioux Women, or other Native American women residing on the Yankton Sioux Tribe Reservation, but going to college off the Yankton Sioux Tribe Reservation and majoring in the fields of Health, Law/Criminal Justice, Education, Sociology or Business. Applications are available in the Financial Assistance Office.
Hispanic Scholarship Fund is now accepting applications for the 2010-11 school year. HSF/General College Scholarships are designed to assist students of Hispanic heritage obtain a college degree. Applicants must be of Hispanic heritage; U.S. citizen or Legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-511 (not expired); have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; be enrolled Full Time in a degree seeking program at a 2 or 4 year U.S. accredited institution during the 2010-2011academic year; be pursuing first undergraduate or graduate degree and apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Army Nurse Corps Association Scholarship Program is now accepting applications for 2010. The purpose of the program is to provide $3000 scholarships to nursing students who are attending colleges and universities with accredited baccalaureate and graduate nursing programs including AD-BSN, BSN accelerated nursing, anesthesia, master’s and doctoral programs. Eligibility requirements are as follows: Nursing students who plan to enter a component of the US Army and are enrolled in a program not funded by a component of the US Army; who have previously served in a component of the US Army; Army Nurse Corps officers in a component of the US Army enrolled in a nursing or other eligible program not funded by the US Army; Army enlisted soldiers in a component of the US Army enrolled in a nursing program not funded by the US Army; and Nursing students whose parent(s) and/or spouse are or have served in a component of the US Army. Lost Boys Education Fund helps young refugees from Kenya who lost their families while fleeing war-torn Sudan pursue higher education. This scholarship fund makes awards to students who have already completed one or more academic years at a college or university. Award: $1500; Deadline: July 15, 2010. Spirit of Sioux Falls Scholarship – Applicants for this award must live in or maintain residency in Lincoln or Minnehaha County – even though they may attend a school outside the area – or they must attend a school in one of these two counties. Applicants must also attend a school accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement. Applicants must be pursuing a degree in business and be able to demonstrate an understanding of the role of business in American society.
