    Assistant Director of Annual Giving and Stewardship Officer

    The Assistant Director of Annual Giving and Stewardship Officer will be responsible for supporting the organization's fundraising efforts through assistance with annual giving appeals and by spearheading the stewardship of gifts and donors to the college. The successful applicant will possess a bachelor's degree, strong written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, willing to travel several times throughout the year.

    Assistant Professor of Physics

    The Division of Natural Sciences invites applications for a tenure-track position in Physics at the rank of Assistant Professor which would begin in January, 2016.

    The successful candidate must have the ability to teach algebra-based physics, calculus-based physics, physical science, earth science, astronomy, and courses in mathematics.  Teaching physical chemistry would be a possibility depending on the background of the candidate.  Foreign-born candidates must have an INS visa (H or better) that allows work within the United States.

    The successful candidate should demonstrate a record of excellence in teaching and possess a strong desire to work in a small, collegial, liberal arts college.

    Athletic Trainer

    MMC invites applications for a full-time, ten-month Athletic Trainer. This position works with the prevention, recognition and rehabilitation of injuries incurred by athletes.  The Athletic Trainer will provide a communication link between the injured athlete, the physician, the coach and the athlete’s family to determine the best time for return to the practice and competition. Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training required with a Master’s degree preferred and two years of post-graduate experience in athletic training field or equivalent experience.

    Custodian/Housekeeper

    Director of Graduate Nursing Program


    Reporting to the Chief Nurse Administrator, the Director of Graduate Nursing Program will implement the mission, goals, and program outcomes of the Mount Marty College Graduate Nursing Program. This position will assist in preparation of departmental budget; assist in recommending, hiring, and orienting faculty for courses and clinical instruction; prepare for accreditation and maintain compliance with accreditation standards; coordinate student clinical experience with agencies, maintaining compliance with State Boards of Nursing; prepare educational policies to keep MSN curriculum current and in compliance with accreditation; evaluations with all students in the course and faculty members teaching in the MSN program.  

    This position requires a Doctorate of Nursing Practice. Successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of teaching experience and must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner.

    Enrollment Counselor

    MMC invites applications for the position of Enrollment Counselor. We seek candidates who can effectively articulate and sell the value of a liberal arts education and the distinctive features of Mount Marty College through both written and public speaking skills. Candidates should have a team-oriented disposition, competitive spirit, high level of energy and a sense of humor. Initiative, self-direction, adaptability and an ability to engage students from diverse backgrounds are also essential qualities.

    This position is responsible for consistent and effective correspondence with prospective students and/or appropriate family members; providing academic and financial aid counseling; processing of applications and all other documents related to enrollment; development of recruitment strategies specific to assigned territory; active participation in on-campus recruitment-related events; and focused attention to the complete prospective student campus visit experience. These responsibilities include travel, including overnights (primarily in the fall months), and non-traditional hours, including evening and occasional weekend commitments.

    Previous experience in college admissions, sales, marketing, and/or counseling preferred.  A bachelor's degree and driver's license are required. This is an exempt, full-time position.

    Head Men's Tennis Coach

    This is a part-time position responsible for developing a men’s tennis program including recruiting, and retaining student athletes, budgeting, organizing practices, scheduling and handling matters necessary to run a competitive program.  Successful candidate will be involved with fund raising and public relations for the College.

    IT Helpdesk Specialist

    This full-time position will provide overall technology support to staff, faculty and students for the ITSS Department including managing issue tracking, providing first level support on issue resolution, tracking inventory of computers/laptop and other hardware devices; maintaining classroom technology and video conferencing systems; supervising work-study students and projects and administering basic on premises telephone system.

     Applicants for this position should have technical, customer service, and familiarity with wide variety of operating systems, audio visual equipment and database experience.  A certification preferred.  This position requires Associates or Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Nurse Anesthesia Clinical Director Position-Sioux Falls

    We are seeking a Clinical Director to join our student-centered faculty in a resource-rich environment that includes modern classrooms and a dedicated high-fidelity simulation laboratory.  Primary responsibilities will include management, organization, and planning for clinical instruction for all students.  A commitment to ongoing clinical practice is essential.

    Residence Hall Director (Part-time)

    This is an exempt, part-time position that maintains a positive residential and campus experience for students by working with students, staff, and resident assistants to plan hall and campus programs and activities that support personal, academic, and spiritual development.

    A Bachelor’s degree is required along with a minimum of one year experience supervising students in a residence hall (preferred). The applicant must have the ability to have a flexible schedule to accommodate early morning, late evening and weekend activities and on-call duty rotation. On-campus housing is required and provided.
