Institutional Research

The Common Data Set (CDS) is a cooperative effort among data providers in the higher education community and publishers (e.g., the College Board, U.S. News & World Report). The goal of the CDS is to improve the quality and accuracy of information provided to those involved in a student's transition to higher education.

The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) is a system of survey components that collects data from institutions across the United States. Produced by the National Center for Education Statistics, the following reports compare MMC data provided through IPEDS surveys to data from peer institutions.

College Navigator consists primarily of the latest data from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS), the core postsecondary education data collection program for the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). College profiles include publicly available institutional data such as programs and majors, tuition and fees, retention, graduation rates, and the price of attendance.
