Mount Marty College is a military-friendly institution. All students eligible for educational benefits from the Department of Veteran's Affairs (VA) must submit a copy of their VA Certificate of Eligibility and the MMC Education Benefit Information form to the Certifying Official in the Registrar's Office. The Certifying Official will process individual enrollment verifications each term and inform the financial assistance and business offices of the benefit.

VA benefits will not impact the amount of federal financial aid a student is eligible to receive. Students receiving VA benefits sent directly to the student will see no change to their institutional aid. Students receiving benefits sent to the school may have their institutional aid adjusted. MMC will recalculate a student's eligibility for aid once the amount of the VA benefit is determined. Institutional aid combined with VA benefits should not exceed the cost of tuition and fees.

Disclosure of the VA benefit should be made at the time of application to MMC. If a student is awarded institutional aid and later gains or reveals eligibility for VA benefits, institutional aid may be reduced.
