European Travel with Mount Marty College
Expand your horizons.
If you’re looking for a college with a broader view of the world, you’ve come to the right place. At Mount Marty, you can engage with people from a wide range of backgrounds. We believe exposure to other cultures makes for better lifelong learning — one of our four Catholic Benedictine values. We want students who are passionate about serving others in an increasingly diverse population.
Our 2016 trip took us to Munich, where we experienced vibrant city life; Dachau, where we came face-to-face with the horrors of the Holocaust; Salzburg, the city that inspired Mozart; Lucerne, nestled in the Alps and home to a world-class Modern Art Museum; and Heidelberg, the quintessential German university town.
The 2017 trip will include a journey along the coastline section of Ireland's Ring of Kerry, a stop at Blarney Castle, two nights in the music-loving city of Dublin, a ferry ride across the Irish Sea to Wales, a drive through Snowdonia National Park, and a visit to Beaumaris Castle. In England, we will tour Shakespeare’s birthplace, stroll through Oxford University, and spend two days and nights in attraction-rich London. Contact Dr. Rich Lofthus or Dr. Jamie Sullivan if you have any questions. Find out more about our future trips.
Do come as you are, and share your story with Mount Marty.
