Providing requested supplies to those impacted by Hurricane Harvey

The Mount Marty College community, along with local businesses and churches, are holding a campus-wide and Yankton community-wide drive, called Helping Hands for Houston, to collect supplies requested by the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.

If you are interested in helping with this cause, we ask that you donate any new and unused items from the below list of supplies provided by the Archdiocese and deliver them to any of the donation drop-off sites listed below by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 12. The college will be sorting and packing items onto a locally-owned semi-truck on Wednesday, September 13 during the college's annual Mission Day event.

The items needed are:

Bottled Water Towels (Bath/Kitchen) Socks
Diapers (All sizes) Paper Towels/Toilet Paper Canned Food/Goods
Infant Formula Female Hygiene Items Shaving Cream
Rubber Gloves Toothbrushes Shampoo
Buckets Hair Brushes/Combs School Supplies (Pencils, Pens, Notebooks, Folders, Crayons, etc.)
Soap (Dish/Laundry) Gift Cards (Visa Cash Cards, Krogers, HEB, gas, etc.) Depends
Pet Food Mops  
Scrub Sponges Underwear  
Rags Bras
