As the soccer coach for Freeman Academy, Epp has guided the team to the State Tournament four times, finishing as the state runner-up in 2008. His teams won the state sportsmanship trophy two of those years.

I am very excited to be working with the mens and womens soccer teams at Mount Marty stated Epp. I have been impressed with everyone I have met through the interview process from the athletic staff to the student-athletes and am looking forward to this opportunity to serve the College and the Yankton community.

Athletic Director Chuck Iverson is excited about the new member of the athletic staff. We are very pleased to get someone of Nathans ability and character to lead the Lancer soccer programs. He has the knowledge, experience, passion, and leadership to lead the programs to new levels of competitive play, and by doing it the right way.
