Mount Marty Announces New 2012 Board of Trustees Members

Mount Marty College is pleased to announce the addition of four new members to the Board of Trustees for 2012.

Sr. Mildred Busch - A member of Sacred Heart Monastery since 1962, Sr. Mildred is also an alumna of Mount Marty College. She resides in Lincoln, Nebraska where she has lived the past eighteen years working as a teacher and principal.

Dan Specht - A lifelong resident of Yankton and Mount Marty College graduate, Specht has a wide span of experience in the community on other boards such as Yankton Area Progressive Growth and the Sacred Heart Church Parish council. He is the owner of Vision Real Estate Services in Yankton and husband to Deb and father to Jayna, Regan, and Cameryn.

Scott Swier - A lawyer in Avon, South Dakota, Swier, is a Mount Marty College graduate. With extensive volunteer experience ranging from Yankton Chamber of Commerce, Yankton Sertoma Club, and South Dakota Voices for Children Swier will bring a wide range of knowledge to the board. Swier is husband to Theresa, an MMC alumna, and father to Sarah, William, and Katherine.

James Wintz - A friend of Mount Marty College, Wintz has lived in Hartington, Nebraska his entire life. Serving the area as a funeral director he has found time to also support the Cedar Catholic Church and the Kiwanis Club. Wintz is husband to Carla and father to Paul, Keith, Steve, Marie, Janeen, and Kevin.

James Bream (Sioux Falls, SD), Dr. William Cahoy (Collegeville, MN), J.P. Duniphan (Rapid City, SD), Chad Ekroth (Yankton, SD), Sr. Ramona Fallon (Rapid City, SD), Dr. Richard Foster (New Castle, IN), Peggy Frank (Yankton, SD), Tom Harmon (Omaha, NE), Arlene Heine (Yankton, SD), Kathryn Higgins (Annapolis, MD), Sr. Marietta Kerkvliet (Yankton, SD), Gerry Likness (Watertown, SD), Kathy Nordstrom (Yankton, SD), Sr. Norma Norton (Yankton, SD), Marlene Rance (Sioux Falls, SD), Steve Slowey (Yankton, SD), Sr. Marlene Stetz (Omaha, NE), and Robert Zylstra (Pella, IA).
