Fedor to Join MMC Volleyball and Track Programs

Mount Marty College is pleased to announce the signing of Sadie Fedor of Monticello, MN to participate in track and volleyball for the Lancers next fall.

On the field, Fedor competed in the triple jump and long jump and holds two records at Monticello High School in the triple jump (35'7") and the long jump (16'2"). She qualified for the state competition in 2011 for the triple jump and was also named All-Conference.

"We are excited to have Sadie next year," says Coach Fischer, "and we look forward to working with her in the years to come.”

Fedor is a 5'7" hitter on the court who totaled 130 kills, 23 assists, 26 blocks, and 298 digs in the 2011 season. She also had 24 service aces, 180 points, and a serving percentage of 93.05%. For her efforts on the court, Fedor was named team captain and lettered two years.

Head MMC volleyball coach, Candice Climer is also excited to welcome Fedor to the program. "Sadie is an all-around recruit for us. She's very athletic and will be a great addition to our program and the Mount Marty community."

Fedor, daughter of Tom and Kathy Fedor of Monticello, MN, plans to major in Nursing at Mount Marty College. She is the recipient of an academic incentive scholarship in addition to her track and volleyball awards.
