Mount Marty College Soccer Signs Bustillos

Mount Marty College is pleased to announce the athletic signing of Genaro Bustillos of Kansas City, Missouri to play soccer for the Lancers this coming season. Bustillos, a recent Cristo Rey Kansas City High School graduate will be listed as a midfielder/defensive center back on the Lancer roster.

Bustillos was named the 2011 MVP, 2011 Defensive Player of the Year, 2011 District Player of the Year, Class 1 Second Team All-State in 2012, and 2012 Player of the Year All-District at midfield, and was a Scholar Athlete.

"We are thrilled that Genaro is joining our program," stated Nathan Epp, head MMC men's soccer coach. "He is a very skilled and technical player that is comfortable playing either attacking or holding midfield. His talent and skill level will help him make an impact for us right away as a freshman."

Bustillos, the son of Gracia Elena Ramirez and Genaro Bustillos Soto, is undecided in his major at Mount Marty College. In addition to his soccer award he will be receiving an academic incentive scholarship.
