General admission tickets for these evening performances are available at the door only beginning at 6:30 p.m. Ticket prices are $8 for adults and $4 for students of any age.
In addition to the public performances, a school matinee for area high school students will be held at Mount Marty College Tuesday, April 8, with the production of Shakespeare's MACBETH set to begin at 10 a.m. Students from Whiting High School, Remsen St. Mary's, Parker High School, Armour High School, Menno High School, Harrisburg High School, Dakota Valley High School, Irene-Wakonda High School, Platte-Geddes High School, Dell Rapids St. Mary's High School, West Holt High School, Beresford High School, Colome High School, Crofton High School, Flandreau Indian School, Cedar Catholic High School, and Emerson-Hubbard High School will be on campus for the annual Theatre Day event. The National Players 2013-2014 tour is a part of Shakespeare for a New Generation, a national program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest. This year's tour began in September. Prior to the South Dakota visit, the Players will be performing at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Charles City High School (IA), and Quinlan-Ford High School (TX).
