Residence Life

Residence Life Mission Statement
"The Mount Marty College Residence Life program works to provide a safe, Christ-centered environment, fostering a sense of community and stewardship that contributes to the growth and development of all its residents, providing them with a firm foundation that will foster their success in the future."

Living in Mount Marty's residence halls is an exciting and important part of college life. You learn more about yourself and your MMC community by getting connected to the people and activities around you. It is likely that you will be exposed to lifestyles, beliefs, attitudes, and values that may be different than your own which offers a very unique learning environment outside the classroom.

You've heard this term before, but the phrase "home away from home" really does fit the residence halls at Mount Marty College. In addition to your accommodations, every effort is made to surround students with the comforts of home. Each floor in Corbey Hall is provided with a living area complete with TV and DVD player and comfortable sofas and chairs. The main lounge features a large kitchenette, pool table, and study and lounge furniture. Whitby Hall is newly remodeled with air conditioning, new beds and furniture, and refurbished bathrooms. The main lounge is equipped with games such as pool, foosball, air hockey, and ping pong. Cable television, lounge furniture and a kitchenette are also available in the main Whitby lounge as well as in the main Bede Hall lounge. Vending machines are available in the residence halls for student, faculty, and staff use.
